During the school year, students meet in the Expedition Room on Wednesdays at 6:45 for The EDGE. The EDGE is a high energy, exciting and fun night where 7th-12th grade students participate in games, hear a message designed for their culture, and participate in small group discussions with other students their age.

Beyond the EDGE AM and Beyond the EDGE PM are life groups that provide students an opportunity to share with each other weekly what God is doing in their lives. Beyond the EDGE PM meet at 4:00pm on Mondays. Beyond the EDGE AM meets at 6:33 am on Tuesday mornings. Both groups meet at the downtown Ontario Jolts-n-Juice.
Fusion is a group designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students that meets on Sunday mornings during the message portion of the 9:30 and 11:00 services. Students worship with their families and then are dismissed part way through the service to go to the Expedition Room for some fun, fellowship, and teaching.
The High School Life Group meets most Sundays through the school year from 6-8pm at Pastor Kim’s house. The first hour is fellowship and fun, then they participate in topical discussions relevant to their culture.
Every summer our teens have the opportunity to participate in summer camps at Trinity Pines Camp and Conference Center in Cascade, Idaho. Sr. High camp is usually in June and the Middle school camp in July.
Teen quizzers dive into God’s word, studying a selected book of the New Testament for an entire school year and compete in monthly quiz competitions. While learning the scripture, these teens deepen friendships in the youth group and get to know students from other churches as well.
On Wednesday nights at the EDGE our teen worship band leads us in worship. Several of our members also serve on the adult worship teams on Sunday mornings. If you are looking for a place to use your musical gifts to serve God, they may be your opportunity.
Special events are scheduled at various times throughout the year. At least once each month there is a fun activity scheduled.
Every other year our teens have the opportunity to participate in a mission trip experience. These may be local or to a location somewhere in the western United States. Mission trips equip and enable students to use their personal gifts and abilities to serve others in a variety of ways.
Twice a year our students have opportunities to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and retreat to a place where we can rest, regroup, reassess, and refocus. Wilderness Weekend and Winter Retreat give our students a chance to unplug from the business of their lives and to experience the presence of God in a different setting.
Once every four years our students have an opportunity to participate in NYC. Nazarene Youth Conference is a gathering for high school students and sponsors from across the USA and Canada that includes messages from exceptional speakers, concerts by top-name artists, experiential learning opportunities, and life-changing service projects. The next NYC will be in 2023.
