REMEMBER TOGETHER! Start the week by remembering the Big Idea from Sunday and spend time memorizing the scripture focus. Put the memory verse in a place  that your family will see it through the week.

Patience – I choose to endure patiently under unavoidable stress.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 [NIV]: “The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.”

* What example of waiting (or not waiting) can you discover in today’s passage?

* What happens when the characters are patient or impatient?

* Imagine yourself in each character’s position… How do you think you would have responded?

* What requires you to wait (have patience) right now.  How do you respond to what Jesus is teaching you about waiting?

Pray Together! Recording praises and requests in a journal will help you and your family continually recognize what God is doing!

* How has the Lord come through for you and your family in the past?  Praise God for His faithfulness!

Pray God’s will for your child, your friends, and your family by praying scriptures. Insert someone’s name in the blank as you pray.

Jesus Christ – We believe in Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man at the same time, who was born, lived, taught, died, and was raised back to life all to be the ransom for our sin.

Colossians 1:19-20 [NLT]: “For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.”
