Tim Brewer - Lead Pastor

Tim Brewer is first of all a husband and a father. He and his ‘righteous babe’ Nancy have been married for thirty-five years and have two wonderful kids, Rachel (James) and Brad. Tim loves the outdoors, camping, hiking, and running. He started hunting in 2017 and to this point no animals have been injured. He qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2013 and continues to enjoy the sport.
His most recent accomplishment is completing his doctorate in preaching and leadership through Asbury Theological Seminary. Though he has the title of doctor, his favorite designation is “pastor”.

Tim came to know Christ as a 16-year-old. The death of a childhood friend helped him discover the love and hope of Christ. Each day following Jesus is still fresh and new.

He attended Northwest Nazarene University (1985), Nazarene Theological Seminary (1990) and Asbury Theological Seminary (2020). He spent ten years in youth ministry and served as lead pastor in Salt Lake City (11 years). He has been serving the wondering people of Ontario, Oregon since 2006.

The weirdest thing Tim has ever eaten is snail.

Eddie Wheeler - Worship Pastor

Edwin grew up in a musical family. His father was a music pastor and his mother a piano teacher, so from an early age he learned to serve God through music. In junior high and high school, Edwin was taught that every Christian is called to be a disciple and to make disciples of Jesus. Although playing music is a passion for him, he says, “What really excites me is seeing people grow in their walk with Jesus.”

The weirdest food he has ever eaten is freshly cut raw salmon while in Korea.

Connie Blastock - Children's Pastor

Connie joined the OFCN staff in 2011 and loves being part of the team. Connie spent middle and high school living the Northwest. It was during those years that God began to develop a call in her life to minister to children and their families.

She attended Point Loma Nazarene University where she received a degree in Child Development. She earned her Master’s in Pastoral Ministry from Northwest Nazarene University in 2009 while serving as a children’s pastor in Vancouver, WA.

Since joining the team, she met and married the most amazing person on the planet, had two incredible boys, and developed an enthusiasm for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Her greatest passion is to help coach kids and parents to Jesus.

The weirdest food Connie has ever had is lap-lap. If you want to know what it is, feel free to look it up.

Levi Lewis - Intern Youth Pastor

Levi has grown up in the Treasure Valley his entire life. He was born in Caldwell, ID, and grew up in Ontario, OR where he started attending OFCN during his childhood and gave his life to Christ a few years later. As a student in high school, Levi attended the Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) in Kentucky where was he was called into ministry.

He attended Treasure Valley Community College where he earned an Associate’s of Arts in Communications and went on to attend Northwest Nazarene University, where he would earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries and minor in Youth Ministries.

Levi enjoys a wide variety of sports and strange hobbies, such as kendama, slack-lining,
spike-ball, and uni-cycling. He loves to try new things and will never say no to a cup of coffee or tea.

The weirdest food Levi has eaten is eel.

Kellie Mendenhall - Office Manager

Kellie is originally from San Diego, California and is the youngest of four. Her parents raised her and her siblings to know who God is and how to worship Him. Kellie grew up doing musical theater along with dancing and acting in commercials. Kellie and her mother moved to Ontario, Oregon in 2010 with a little prompting from God.

In 2015, God asked Kellie to go to Ecuador for 2.5 years to plant a church with a group of other Nazarene Christians. In that amount of time, she not only became fluent in Spanish and learned how a different culture lives; but she learned how to share the gospel, to preach, and to disciple. Kellie discovered that she had to go deeper in her own faith so that she could teach others. Kellie says that this experience not only grew her relationship with God, it grew her as a person.

Kellie loves to play games, watch movies, and go to coffee with friends to catch up. Along with the goal of traveling to every state, one of her favorite things to do is try new things. Some of the things she has tried in the last few years: horseback riding, snorkeling, knitting, lawn mowing, camping, snow sledding, and visiting new places like Indiana, Canada and Brazil. What will she try next?

The weirdest food Kellie has ever eaten is Octopus.

Sue Hodgson - Office Assistant

Sue grew up as a pastor’s kid, asking Jesus into her life at an early age; however, it was in high school she asked Jesus to be Lord in her life. God has been so good and she is thankful for His faithfulness through the years. She began working as a volunteer in the church office in 1998, was hired as a part-time Office Assistant in 1999, became Office Manager in 2006, and just ‘retired’ to part-time this past year. It has been a privilege working with an amazing group of pastors and staff through those years.

She met her husband, Bill, at Azusa Pacific College (University) in southern California while singing in the Concert Choir. They enjoy spending time with their 3 grown children and 9-year old grandson, camping and gardening. Now that she is not working full-time, she is planning to work on all those sewing, quilting, and scrap booking projects that have been neglected for too many years!!!

Sue says lion is easily the weirdest food she has ever eaten.

Jeannine Wyborney - Bookkeeping

Jeannine was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She attended Northwest Nazarene University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Since moving to Ontario in 1995, she and her husband, Steve, have enjoyed many wonderful friendships and experiences in the community. New to being empty-nesters, they are exploring hobbies and enjoying a different pace of life.

The weirdest thing Jeannine has ever eaten is squid.  She won’t make that mistake again.
