The Presence
August 12

At our next stop, we study Moses and his plea for God's Presence to go with him and the Israelites in Exodus 33:7 - 34:9 and 34:33-35. Pastor Tim challenges us all to seek God's Presence as he, J.D., and Shawn share about their recent encounters with the Holy Spirit while in Cali, Colombia.

Right Relationships
August 5

Pastor Connie continues the journey through Exodus as we examine the Ten Commandments and what they mean for us today. Key verses are Exodus 20:1-17, Matthew 5:21-22, 27-28, 43-44.

Treasured Possessions
July 29

Due to technical difficulties, this sermon is not available online.

Prayer
July 15

Pastor Tim uses the story of the Israelites' battle with the Amalekits to discuss some important points about prayer: while Moses kept his staff held up, the Israelites were winning the battle. Moses' physical posture is not as important as his spiritual posture--one that declares dependence on God. Key verses are Exodus 17:8-15.

The Power of a Word
July 8

Picking up where we left off in Exodus with God's provision of manna and quail, Pastor Tim challenges us to trust God to be enough for us. Key verses are Exodus 15:22-17:7, John 4:47-51, Numbers 11.

Between a Rock and a Hard Place
July 1

Pastor Tim shows us what we can take away from the story of the Israelites fleeing from Egypt and crossing the Red Sea: that God walks with us in the good times and the bad times. Key verses are Exodus 13:17-14:31.

Christ in the Passover
June 24

As we continue through Exodus, Pastor Tim shows us how the Passover is more than just a piece of the story about the ten plagues: it's a piece of the story of God's grace. Key verses are Exodus 12:1-13.

Superheroes
June 17

In this Father's Day message, Pastor Tim shows the importance of fathers through the story of the Passover and encourages men to accept God's challenge to lead their families. Key verses are Exodus 12:1-13, 21-27 and 13:1-2, 11-13.

Clash of the Titans
June 10

Pastor Tim walks us through the ten plagues in Exodus 7:1 - 10:29, noting the significance of each along the way. The plagues were not ten random disasters; they specifically targeted an area of Egyptian religious beliefs. They were God's way of letting the Egyptians know that He was the one and only God.

When Plan A Does Not Work and Faith Is Tested
June 3

The story of the Exodus might have gone just a little bit differently had Moses given up the first time Pharaoh refused to let the Israelites go, but, like Moses, we don't have to dispair when we feel like God is letting us down. Pastor Tim encourages us to bring those things to God and keep trusting. Key verses are Exodus 5:1 - 6:12.

God's Call to Redeem the World
May 27

How would you react if you were Moses? You've just heard God say, "So I have come down to rescue [my people] from the hand of the Egyptians..." and you're about to celebrate, but then God adds, "I am sending you." Would you make excuses, or would you be obedient? Pastor Tim points out that God is sending all of us, and we, like Moses, can choose to make excuses for our insufficiencies or trust in God's sufficiency. Key verses are Exodus 3:7-15 and 4:1-16.

The Heart of a Great Follower
May 20

As we continue in Exodus, Pastor Tim helps us get a better picture of what it means to have a life fully devoted to God. Key verses are Exodus 3:1-10.

Breaking Free
May 6

God did not rescue the Israelites just to get them out of Egypt--He wanted to get Egypt out of them. Likewise, God wants to give us true freedom. Pastor Tim draws connections between this story in Exodus and Celebrate Recovery's Steps for Breaking Free from Addiction. Key verses are Exodus 1:8-2:10, 2:23-25, 14:30-31.

And
April 29

Pastor Tim begins a new series called, "Out of Egypt" and gives an outline of Exodus to help us understand God's desire to live in relationship with us. Key verses are Exodus 1:1-22 and 2:24-25.
